Claire Clark - Clinical Director, ADHD specialist and Nurse prescriber
Claire Clark is a registered Mental Health Nurse with over 15 years’ experience in neurodevelopmental care, specialising in ADHD and emotional well-being.
As Director and Lead Nurse, Claire brings her deep clinical expertise and compassionate approach to every aspect of the service, driven by a passion for helping individuals unlock their potential and thrive. Combining clinical care with senior management roles. She led service improvements, pathway development, and strategic initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery across both intensive community and inpatient settings.
Claire spent 13 years working within CAMHS, where she gained extensive experience in assessing and supporting children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. Her practice now includes adult assessments, ensuring continuity of care across the lifespan and bridging the gaps that often exist in neurodiversity services.
She is highly skilled in risk assessment and crisis management, using advanced communication and de-escalation techniques to support individuals in distress and promote safe outcomes. Claire’s practice reflects her commitment to responsive, person-centred care—even in high-pressure environments.
Committed to timely, person-centred intervention, Claire leads with empathy and clinical excellence. She understands the impact of delayed diagnosis and works to ensure that individuals and families receive responsive, informed support.
Claire is also trained in the UKAAN (UK Adult ADHD network) for assessment and pharmaceutical treatment of ADHD. Claire is a proud member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) and is fully registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
Adam Fitzsimmons - Neurodevelopmental Specialist
Adam is an experienced Mental Health Nurse with a strong background in excess of 20 years experience in supporting individuals with complex mental health presentations across inpatient and community settings.
With a patient-centred approach, Adam is committed to delivering compassionate, recovery-focused care that prioritises dignity, empowerment, and meaningful engagement.
He has worked within multidisciplinary teams across NHS services, contributing to care planning, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support. His practice draws on trauma-informed principles and a deep understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism and ADHD.
Adam is passionate about enhancing systems of care—supporting service development, and mentoring junior staff to create safe, reflective environments. He takes a proactive role in ongoing training and development, particularly in areas like de-escalation techniques, psychological safety, and collaborative working.
Known for his calm demeanour and empathetic communication style, Adam continues to advocate for inclusive care pathways that meet the diverse needs of individuals and families.

Graeme Tainsh - Psychological Therapist | Trauma & Neurodevelopmental Specialist
With over a decade of experience, Graeme has worked across the lifespan within NHS services and private practice. He specialises in complex mental health and neurodevelopmental presentations—including Autism, ADHD, and trauma-related difficulties in children and young people.
Graeme holds specialist training in Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), with particular expertise in Compassion Focused Group Psychotherapy (CFGP). He collaborates closely with Dr Kate Lucre on CFT-based initiatives and is especially interested in mobilising compassion-led approaches for boys, men, sport performance, and family therapy.
Beyond clinical practice, Graeme lectures and delivers workshops on a range of mental health issues. He has led Quality Improvement (QI) projects since 2017, using QI methodology to design, implement and evaluate therapeutic services—particularly therapy groups. He also supervises qualified clinicians delivering CBT and CFT.
Graeme is passionate about supporting those affected by maltreatment and psychological trauma. His integrative approach is rooted in psychological theory and tailored to individual needs, making him highly effective in working with complex cases.
