Initial consultation

Your 60-minute session is a chance to share your story, be heard, and explore the support options that fit you. We’ll cover your history, current challenges, and goals using structured discussion and screening tools in a confidential, welcoming space. We will ask you to complete a range of forms ahead of your appointment.

By the end, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what’s next—whether that’s formal assessment, therapy, or simply feeling validated.

Our assessments follow gold-standard clinical practice, we use multi discipline approach combining structured tools with real human insight.

For ADHD, we use evidence-based measures like the DIVA and Conners to support a full diagnostic picture—but we prioritise direct conversation and authentic understanding over multiple screeners and questionnaires. It’s about meeting you, not just measuring you.

Autism assessments are guided by best-practice frameworks, with recognised tools including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). We collaborate with families, schools, and relevant informants to understand how traits show up in everyday life.

Every assessment is shaped around your unique experience, not a one-size-fits-all template. Our goal is that at the end of your assessment you have a better understanding of yourself or your loved one.

We offer QB as an addition to your assessment for ADHD and do not use this as a stand alone assessment. The additional cost for this is £150.

At Regenesis Clinic, we offer QB Check—a clinically validated, computer-based assessment designed to support the diagnosis of ADHD. Unlike traditional questionnaires or observational methods alone, QB Check provides objective data by measuring attention, impulsivity and hyperactivity using advanced motion tracking and performance metrics.

This tool is particularly helpful for individuals seeking clarity around ADHD, including those navigating late diagnosis or complex presentations. It supports diagnostic decision-making, helps track treatment effectiveness, and provides measurable insights to inform ongoing care.

QB Check is conducted in a calm, supportive environment, with our trained clinicians on hand to guide you through each step. The results are interpreted alongside clinical interviews, developmental history, and other assessment tools to build a full picture of your needs.

By integrating QB Check into our neurodevelopmental pathway, Regenesis Clinic ensures that every assessment is thorough, person-centred, and grounded in best practice.

Before Your Appointment: How to Prepare

To help us get the most accurate results during your visit, here are a few important steps you should follow:

  • Hydration & Nutrition: Please eat and drink as normal beforehand. Staying well-hydrated supports reliable blood pressure readings and other assessments.
  • Skip the Caffeine: Avoid coffee, tea, energy drinks, or any other caffeinated products on the day of your appointment. Caffeine can temporarily raise your heart rate and blood pressure, which may affect your results.
  • Blood Pressure Monitoring: We’ll take your blood pressure during your visit, so being well-rested and hydrated helps.
  • Cardiac Screening (If Applicable): If you have a family history of heart-related conditions, we may recommend an ECG (electrocardiogram) during your visit, which we can offer in Clinic. Caffeine can interfere with ECG readings, so it’s especially important to steer clear.
